It's all about the rough side of city life – the violence, the social injustices, the way we mess ourselves up. Tracks like "A Knife in da Leg" and "HoboStabInsurance" hit you right in the gut with the harsh realities. But it's not all doom and gloom. Some songs take a more playful jab at how we all tend to stick our heads in the sand about big issues.
Fupa Goddess throws shade at society's obsession with looking tough ("toxic masculinity," anyone?), the pressures of mental health, and the grip of addiction. Fupa Goddess even throws in some jabs at consumerism, censorship, and the lies we tell ourselves. It's a hilarious and scathing critique of everything wrong with city life, but that's just the way it is, right?
